Intentions of this blog

An experiment in a niche area. As both a student of Human Rights Law, and an avid gamer, I wish to explore the clash between these two areas of my life.
-Primarily, this will be game criticism through a pro-human rights perspective. Discussing how concepts such as human rights, respect for life, and basic dignity are shown in the medium. This was inspired by a statement made by the Red Cross last year.
-Real life events which involve the two areas. For example, disabled gamers and their ability to access the hobby.
-More whimsical ideas often float in my head- an examination on how "organic dignity" is protected by the Citadel in the Mass Effect Universe, for example.

As this is a niche area, stretching the scope and definition of what I write about may be necessary.
